Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Assess paint jobs for quality and consistency, ensuring a smooth finish
- Collaborate with the body shop team to meet production timelines and customer expectations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as an auto body painter or in a similar role
- Proficiency with painting tools and techniques, including spray guns and paint mixing
- Strong attention to detail and color matching skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Knowledge of safety practices related to auto painting
