$25–$35/hr (based on experience)

This is a hands-on, get-it-done kind of shop. If you know your way around heavy-duty trucks, tractors, and commercial vehicles—and you take pride in making beat-up equipment look and perform like it just rolled off the lot—this is the kind of place you’ll want to be.

We’re looking for an Auto Body Specialist who can jump between everything from dent repair and panel replacement to full restorations, paint work, and final finishing. Some days it’s small touch-ups. Other days it’s a full tear-down and rebuild. Either way, the expectation is the same: solid work, clean finish, no shortcuts.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be handling a wide mix of body repair work on heavy-duty commercial trucks and equipment, including light, medium, and heavy-duty units. That means:

• Assessing damage and figuring out the best way to fix it right the first time
• Pulling dents, dings, and body damage using proper tools and techniques
• Replacing panels, bumpers, and damaged components
• Working with fiberglass and aluminum repairs
• Sanding, buffing, and polishing to get surfaces ready for paint and final finish
• Mixing and applying paint products as needed for refinishing work
• Making sure everything lines up properly—fitment and alignment matter
• Installing glass, windshields, and related components
• Removing and reinstalling accessories on commercial units
• Tear-down and reassembly of heavy-duty trucks and tractors
• Writing up estimates for repairs when needed (customers or insurance)
• Keeping your work area clean, organized, and efficient
• Following safety and shop standards at all times

What we’re looking for

This role is for someone who’s already been around equipment and knows how a shop runs. You don’t need hand-holding—you need space to do your job well.

• Experience with heavy-duty truck or commercial body repair
• Comfortable with tear-down, rebuild, and full-body work
• Solid skills in sanding, finishing, and paint prep
• Ability to read repair instructions, manuals, and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail—fit, finish, and alignment matter here
• Dependable, steady work ethic
• Able to work independently and also be part of a crew
• Physically able to lift and move heavy parts and components
• Willing to learn and pick up new techniques
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
