The Auto Body Technician repairs damaged bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications, using hand tools and power tools.ResponsibilitiesDe‑Trim and disassemble vehiclesUtilizing parts carts for partsPerform pre‑pulls for repair vs replace decisionsAssist in identifying parts needed for repairsPerform quality repairs without passing on defectsUtilize technical information sheets along with work order for all repairsFollow DCC's quality control processKeep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe environmentComply with all DCC safety rules, guidelines and standardsPerform other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure efficient and effective repairsPosition RequirementsValid Driver's LicenseKnowledge of manufacturers' repair processesDemonstrates commitment to continued learning by ongoing participation in I-Car Pro level training and other industry required trainingReliable attendance requiredAbility to read and understand written estimates and work ordersThis is a physically demanding position. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicleMust be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequentlyMust be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle partsAbility to lift up to 70 poundsWill be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materialsThis position is currently accepting applications.#J-18808-Ljbffr
