Job Title: Automotive Service Technician  
Location: Wilkinson Cadillac Chevrolet GMC 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays 8:30-1:00) 

 

Job Summary 

Wilkinson Cadillac Chevrolet GMC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Automotive Technician with A-Tech skills to join our growing service team. This individual will be responsible for performing detailed inspections, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs on customers' vehicles and vehicles in our inventory. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and has a positive, solution-driven attitude.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections and repairs on customer owned vehicles and inventory vehicles 

  • Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, brakes, tire rotations, etc.) 

  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues accurately 

  • Execute necessary repairs efficiently and to manufacturer standards 

  • Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle condition and recommendations 

  • Install GM accessories on both customer and dealership inventory vehicles 

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols 

 

 

Qualifications 

  • Solid understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures 

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues 

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship 

  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor 

  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive mindset 

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 

  • GM certification or relevant experience preferred but not required
