What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients during night shifts
• Document patient assessments, treatments, medications, and progress using EPIC EMR
• Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and side-effects
• Assess patients’ emotional, psychological, and social needs and provide appropriate support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float as needed across Med/Surg departments
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Follow all hospital protocols and standards of practice as per ANA guidelines

What You Need:

• Valid New Mexico RN license or valid Compact license
• BLS Certification via AHA
• 1+ year of related nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical competence
• Strong communication and patient care skills

About the Assignment:
This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in Santa Fe, NM, providing quality care in a supportive environment. The unit mainly covers Medical/Surgical departments with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6. The role involves floating across various departments and working night shifts to meet patient needs.
