Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting opportunity in Montour Falls, NY. This position is based in a long-term care setting and is ideal for a compassionate and dedicated nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a strong potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and document patient-centered nursing care.
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical diagnoses.
- Prioritize and deliver nursing interventions aligned with best practices.
- Provide therapeutic care and monitor patient conditions.
- Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
- Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an LPN in a long-term care or similar clinical setting.
Licenses/Certifications (Required Prior to Start):
- Valid LPN license (New York)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)
