Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic with a strong diagnostic background and a great work ethic. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of customer vehicles. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes pride in their work, operates safely, and hits efficiency goals without sacrificing quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform digital vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, and mechanical repairs (brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, etc.).
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs clearly to service advisors.
Document all work performed and parts used accurately on repair orders.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bay environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in an automotive repair shop.
Tools: Must possess a complete set of your own tools appropriate for daily automotive repair.
Certifications:ASE Certification is highly preferred (or a strong willingness to obtain it).
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems (engine performance, brakes, electrical, climate control, etc.).
Traits: Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and a team player.
