Position Summary
The commerical technician is a mobile vehicle technician that will enhance commercial business service by working off site to assist our clients with EVCIs and supported services for their fleets. The basic services provided will be basic maintenance, tires, brake work, AC services and under hood services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive to customer off site locations
Produce EVCI for requested vehicles
Write up work orders to process for approval
Complete the approved work
Return mobile shop to Pep Boys location each day
Keep mobile shop clean and in good condition
Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A valid driver's license
ASE Technician B certification
Knowledge of POS system and customer needs
Passion for career as a Technician in the automotive industry
Eager to learn and competitive drive to succeed
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
