Auto Technician / Automotive MechanicAuto Technician RequirementsPenmac Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Auto Technician to join a busy and growing automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This position is located in Grovespring, MO.Qualifications for the Auto Technician:- Previous automotive technician, mechanic, or related mechanical experience preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures
- Experience with welding, fabrication, bodywork, or painting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in a shop environment
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
Auto Technician ResponsibilitiesAs an Auto Technician, you will perform a variety of repair, maintenance, and fabrication tasks on vehicles and trucks. This is a hands-on position offering diverse work and the opportunity to utilize a broad range of automotive skills.
Responsibilities include:- Perform vehicle and truck maintenance and repair services
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete necessary repairs
- Conduct engine, drivetrain, suspension, and brake repairs
- Complete vehicle tear-downs, rebuilds, and restoration projects
- Perform bodywork, painting, and finishing as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair vehicle wiring and electrical systems
- Complete fabrication and welding projects
- Maintain accurate work areas and follow shop safety procedures
- Assist with other automotive repair duties as assigned
Schedule & Pay- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 30-minute lunch break
- Pay based on experience
