We are a locally-owned, full-service, high volume repair shop in Cayce, SC, looking for professional craftsman to add to our team. We're built on a foundation of honesty and integrity. We use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and transparent communication—including documeting digital inspections with photos and videos—to ensure our customers trust us with their vehicles for the long haul.

Responsibilities

• Precision Diagnostics: Utilize advanced scanning tools and your own specialized equipment to accurately diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability issues across various makes and models.

• Quality Workmanship: Execute a wide range of repairs—from steering and suspension to complex mechanical overhauls—with a "fixed right the first time" mentality.

• Transparent Inspections: Perform comprehensive Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI). You will use a shop-provided laptop to document vehicle health through photos and videos, helping our service advisors provide a transparent "dealership alternative" experience.

• Tool & Bay Management: Maintain your personal tool inventory while responsibly utilizing and caring for the shop’s specialized equipment and heavy tools.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure every vehicle leaving your bay meets our high safety standards and adheres to all shop and industry regulations.

• Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving automotive technology and manufacturer bulletins to ensure we remain Cayce’s premier independent repair facility

Qualifications

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience (Full-service/Diagnostic experience preferred).

• Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of personal hand tools and air/power tools.

• Investment in Craft: A commitment to maintaining and expanding your personal tool set as your career grows.

• Tech Savvy: Willingness to use shop-provided laptops for digital vehicle inspections (DVI).

• Integrity: A "fix it right the first time" mentality and a commitment to honesty.

• Certifications: ASE Certifications preferred (or the drive to obtain them, continue education).

• Integrity: A commitment to honest work—no unnecessary up-selling.
