Auto Technicians play a vital role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety and performance. Working independently or as part of a team, they diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using a combination of manual skills and technology. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics on vehicle systems to identify problems
Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on automobiles
Install parts and test vehicle systems for proper functionality
Interact professionally with customers regarding vehicle status and repairs
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive repair
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
Proficiency in engine diagnostics, brake, electrical, and emission systems
Strong customer service, problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills
