Field Service Technician - Houston, Texas - JOB 25-01747

Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00/HR + OT and travel pay Permanent Position with Benefits

Houston, Texas area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Field Service Technician to provide on-site support, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and assist with installations of electrical systems and equipment in the field.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher level education
  • 5+ years' working in electrical equipment manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use multi-meter and read electrical schematics / drawings to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble and install fabricated equipment, run conduit, pull wires, using hand tools and power tools to assemble / install fabricated equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, and NFPA)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to train customers in basic equipment operation and maintenance
