Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Designer to support their engineering team in producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings. This role will work closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts and specifications into clear, compliant construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D (and 3D, if applicable) drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering designs and specifications
• Collaborate with engineers to interpret redlines, sketches, and design concepts
• Prepare site plans, layouts, profiles, and construction details
• Revise and update drawings based on internal and client feedback
• Maintain drawing standards, templates, and file organization
• Ensure all plans comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
• Assist in quantity take-offs and basic design calculations (if applicable)
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
• Support project documentation and submittals

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience (engineering or construction preferred)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D, Revit, or other software a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of industry standards and local codes (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
