Automated Filling Line Technician — Louisville, KY

    Starting pay:$22.99 | 2nd Shift: 10:00 AM–8:45 PM, Monday–Thursday (occasional overtime)

    Full–Time Benefits!

Picture this: You clock in at our Louisville plant and join a tight-knit crew committed to making and packaging top-tier paints and stains. Your station is the automated filling line—precision machinery you’ll set up, monitor, and fine-tune to keep quality and output high. Throughout the day, you’ll verify fill volumes, check labels and codes, move product onto conveyors, and use a powered industrial truck to stage materials and take finished goods to the next stop. You communicate what you see—good, bad, or unexpected—so the line keeps moving and the team succeeds together.

    What you’ll do

    • Follow all safety rules and standard safety practices from start to finish.
    • Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated filling equipment.
    • Run quality checks: verify fill volumes, labeling accuracy, and coding integrity.
    • Alert management or maintenance to equipment or process issues promptly.
    • Load cases or pails onto the conveyor as needed.
    • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to supply materials and move finished goods.
    • Keep the area clean and organized to meet housekeeping expectations.
    • Support initiatives that improve line throughput and efficiency.
    • Tackle other tasks as assigned to help the team win the day.

    What you bring

    • Age 18+ and available for overtime when needed.
    • Comfort reading and following English work instructions and SOPs.
    • Ready to wear required PPE: hard hat, steel/composite‑toe safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and more as needed.
    • Able to work in temperature‑variable environments.
    • Stamina to stand for long stretches and climb stairs.
    • Mobility to bend, reach, and lift while handling hoses, drums, or similar materials.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
    • Qualified to safely operate a PIT (forklift or similar).
    • Basic computer know‑how (SAP, Vorne, or comparable systems).
    • Completion and understanding of required safety training.
