    Job Description

    Help Build Proprietary Barrel Bars with Precision

    Join Anderson International and contribute at every stage of our barrel bar production, meeting output targets while protecting quality and safety.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Sort material straightness using go/no‑go gauges; segregate out‑of‑spec pieces.
    • Straighten material to specification with a hydraulic press; verify with product‑specific gauges.
    • Run fully automated and semi‑automated grinding machines to achieve final dimensions and finish.
    • Laser‑etch product identification and complete final packaging/boxing.
    • Transact work in the ERP system using a computer or PC‑based tablet.
    • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
    • Perform duties according to health and safety requirements in accordance with Anderson International policy and procedures.
    • Conform to all Anderson International plant policies and procedures; complete documentation for inspections, maintenance, inventory, and health & safety.
    • Abide by all training, policies, and procedures set forth by Anderson International.
    • Collaborate with peers and management to ensure positive results and a safe, respectful environment.

    Position Scope

    Hands‑on contributor across multiple stages of our proprietary barrel bar manufacturing process; accountable for throughput, quality, and safe execution.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Entry‑level role—no prior manufacturing experience required; training provided.
    • Pass a basic mechanical aptitude test; demonstrate strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
    • Read drawings/diagrams and shop paperwork; perform simple math and measurements; document results accurately.
    • Attention to visual quality and aesthetics.
    • Able to use automated, semi‑automated, manual, and powered hand tools.
    • Experience with repetitive production work preferred; operating mechanical equipment is beneficial but not required.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • Enjoys highly repetitive, routine‑driven work.
    • Team player who adapts well to adversity.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.

    Work Environment

    • Plant environment with frequent standing, sitting, walking, reaching, lifting, and interaction with equipment, people, and materials.
    • Vision: close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
    • Overtime may be required, including weekdays and weekends, based on workload.
