Power the future of warehouse automation

At Symbotic, Customer Operations leads day-to-day performance of our robotic material handling system—driving safety, quality, and reliability. As an AMHS Operations Analyst, you’ll be the heartbeat of the control room: translating data into action, coordinating maintenance and production, and ensuring that people and machines work in sync.

Your impact

  • Embed a safety-first mindset in alignment with OSHA, Symbotic, and customer policies.
  • Oversee live system KPIs and resource availability across personnel and robotic vehicles.
  • Align with the customer to plan schedules, release production, and receive inventory efficiently.
  • Lead first-response troubleshooting to minimize downtime; escalate complex issues decisively.
  • Interface with remote Symbotic software engineers and on-site management to resolve software incidents.
  • Operate a purpose-built GUI to manage system flows safely and accurately.
  • Orchestrate daily run plans and coordinate maintenance with technicians and the Automation Manager based on warehouse priorities.
  • Maintain rigorous event logs; grow into the on-site software authority with a systems-thinking approach to interdependencies and consequences.
  • Diagnose robotic vehicle errors through log analysis; capture clear notes and notify service teams.
  • Mentor peers on troubleshooting and equipment repair within your training scope.
  • Partner with tiered support to sustain production targets.
  • Support additional initiatives and tasks as assigned by leadership.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 1+ year of experience in a computer or automation environment preferred.
  • Ability to direct daily standard work and prioritize actions for the team.
  • Detail-driven communicator with strong English writing and speaking skills.
  • Learner’s mindset with a willingness to assist teammates.
  • Positive response to feedback and recognition.
  • Comfort with high-volume multitasking and rapid context switching.
  • High urgency and ownership.

Working conditions

  • Access structures via steep stairs; work near elevated railings.
  • Indoor work with temperature exposure from 105° down to 32° Fahrenheit.
  • Construction-phase locations require PPE: hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe shoes, eye/ear protection, and fall protection (e.g., harness).
  • Safely lift up to 50 lbs and move items up to 80 lbs.
  • Stand/walk for 10–12 hours; frequent reaching with hands/arms.
  • Operate at heights up to 45 ft and within spaces as narrow as 24 in; ability to stand, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Capable of occasional/continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movements using both hands and feet.
