Automated Side Load Garbage Truck Driver - Residential Routes

Location: Pasco West - New Port Richey, FL

Pay: $23-$25/hr + Overtime Opportunities

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturdays | 3:00 AM - 2:00 PM | 50-55 Hours/Week

Waste Connections is seeking experienced, safety‑focused CDL Drivers to join our Pasco West / New Port Richey team, servicing residential routes. What You'll Do

• Safely operate an Automated Side Load (ASL) Garbage Truck on residential routes
• Use automated controls to lift and empty residential waste containers
• Follow route sheets and/or dispatcher instructions to ensure timely service
• Transport and dump waste at designated disposal sites
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment)
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times
• Provide excellent customer service to residential customers

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Clean driving record
• 1+ year of local route driving experience (waste industry preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude
