Automated Side Load Garbage Truck Driver - Residential Routes
Location: Pasco West - New Port Richey, FL
Pay: $23-$25/hr + Overtime Opportunities
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturdays | 3:00 AM - 2:00 PM | 50-55 Hours/Week
Waste Connections is seeking experienced, safety‑focused CDL Drivers to join our Pasco West / New Port Richey team, servicing residential routes. What You'll Do
- Safely operate an Automated Side Load (ASL) Garbage Truck on residential routes
- Use automated controls to lift and empty residential waste containers
- Follow route sheets and/or dispatcher instructions to ensure timely service
- Transport and dump waste at designated disposal sites
- Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections (fluids, tires, safety equipment)
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to residential customers
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Clean driving record
- 1+ year of local route driving experience (waste industry preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude
