Role focus: Keep production moving

  • Troubleshoot and repair modern automated production and processing equipment.
  • Inspect machines for wear, breakage, and defects; listen for abnormal sounds to detect issues early.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to solve complex problems safely and efficiently.
  • Dismantle equipment and install new or repaired parts; restore equipment to optimal condition.
  • Clean and lubricate bearings, gears, shafts, and other moving components.
  • Support operation and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, and ammonia systems.
  • Install and repair electrical systems and components: transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, and electronic parts.
  • Repair, replace, and maintain the physical structure of plant equipment.
  • Perform cutting and joining with torches and welding equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to guide work.
  • Work independently with strong self-direction in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Operate and service material handling equipment daily; experience with pallet jack maintenance is preferred.

Environment & physical requirements

  • Work with, in, and around industrial machinery in a fast-paced setting.
  • Refrigerated production areas maintained near 32°F (lower in some zones); must tolerate cold storage for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, twist, squat, push, pull, kneel, and reach with both arms.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance.

Pay, schedule, and perks

  • Full-Time Hourly Positions- $20.00-$40.00 based on experience
  • Premium Differential Pay for 2nd and 3rd shift $1.50
