Join Acloche in Lancaster as an Automated TIG Welding Technician

Step onto a production floor that runs on precision. Youll arrive to a line of automated TIG stations of the 10 high-volume cells used to build custom hydraulic lines and tubular products for both heavy and light equipment. Youll bring the cell online, run parts, verify quality with precise measurements, and keep the operation humming.

What your day looks like

• Prepare your station: calibrate, clean, and verify machine readiness to kick off the production cycle.
• Dial in parameters: adjust speed and other settings to meet spec and throughput targets.
• Verify prep: confirm incoming parts are properly prepared before welding.
• Measure twice: inspect components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
• Run checks: periodically test machine operation and part quality during the shift.
• Troubleshoot: address issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
• Audit output: spot and correct machine-related defects or flaws.
• Document results: record accepted/defective units and maintain activity logs.
• Data entry: input setup and verification data in the computer to confirm correct configuration.
• Pitch in: support other departments as business needs shift.

About the operation

Our clients facility combines 10 automatic TIG welding stations with manual lines and robotic cells to fabricate custom tubular assemblies and hydraulic lines used across diverse equipment.

What you bring

• Demonstrated experience as a machine operator in a fast-paced production setting.
• Comfort with high-speed equipment and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Solid understanding of production processes and safety protocols; consistent PPE use.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear team communication.
• Physical stamina and strength to meet role demands.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed; overtime is mandatory when scheduled.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.

Client-specific training will be provided on processes, quality standards, and best practices.

Schedule and pay

• Shift: 1st shift, MondayThursday, 6:00am4:30pm (possible Friday overtime)
• Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Location: Lancaster
