A day in the life in Grand Ledge, MI
You start by reviewing AutoCAD Electrical drawings you created for a new cell—wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and I/O lists are all dialed in. By midday, you're building PLC logic in Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal, then tuning HMI screens to make operators lives easier. Afternoon brings hardware integration: sensors, VFDs, servo axes, vision, and safety circuits come together. On commissioning weeks (about a quarter of your year), you19re at a plantE28094leading debug, proving throughput, and guiding site acceptance. As projects wrap, you author clear Operator and Maintenance manuals so customers hit the ground running.
