Automation/Controls Technician/Installer

Our client is on the hunt for a seasoned professional to spearhead the installation and deployment of Building Automation Systems. This role is pivotal in assembling and integrating control mechanisms, laying out and connecting low voltage circuits, and initiating systems while diagnosing technical issues. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in building automation, be certified with a CT E2 or L6 License, and consistently provide top-notch installation and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the installation of sensors, thermostats, and controllers as part of the System integrations, ensuring all components are correctly fitted.
- Facilitate the routing of conduit and wiring, ensuring compliance with the specified designs and regulations.
- Oversee the initiation phase of systems, confirming that every component operates correctly and meets calibration standards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify any identified system deficiencies to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the project team, including managers and other technicians, ensuring timely and precise project execution.
- Maintain open communication with clients, offering clear updates regarding project status and completion.
- Guarantee that all installations meet required codes and uphold substantial safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid CT E2 or L6 License is mandatory.
- Certifications related to automation or electrical systems are advantageous.
- At least 3+ years of dedicated experience in deploying and servicing Building Automation Systems.
- Expertise in low voltage system setups, including troubleshooting and operational testing.
- Adept at deciphering wiring schematics and system plans.
