We are looking for  5 Automation Engineers with two types of expertise:  some will have expertise in PLC programming and deployment, others will have experience with deployment of SCADA systems
 
  • Start date is last week in April 2019
  • Duration is 12 months
 
The scope of work is:
  1. Development/approval of automation plan/design specifications for project
  2. Support of URS/functional specifications/configuration specifications
  3. Preparation, pre-approval, and closure of any applicable change controls
  4. Support of protocol/test plan generation
  5. FAT support, including execution of electrical/wiring checks
  6. Configuration of all I/O for process equipment and instrumentation/components within the suite.
  7. Creation of units, phase logic, control modules, data tables, path logic, and any other required functionality in PLCs
  8. Creation of paths in SQL
  9. Creation of SCADA screens using iFIX 5.8 and creation and population of SCADA database
  10. Configuration and addition of tags to Pi Historian
  11. Provide commissioning and qualification support, including loop tuning, support of testing, and resolution of deviations and closeout of project documents
  12. Configuration/support of server configuration, including SCADA, background, thin-client, Pi Historian, SQL, file/print, terminal, batch servers (batch server for future use), and any other required servers.
  13. Support of configuration of workstations throughout suite
  14. Implementation of Manufacturing Control System for suite
  15. Support of suite startup/troubleshooting activities for an agreed on duration after startup
  16. Support will need to be provided for data integrity requirements, BT firewall and Plant Automation Network Security (PANS III) strategy, input on SOPs, assistance with operator training, and required communication between process equipment and other site systems.
 
PLC Milestones:
  • Support generation of documents, including change controls, plans, design specifications, functional/configuration specifications
  • Support protocol/test plan generation
  • FAT support
  • Programming of PLC/SCADA/Historian/SQL for each unit operation
  • Commissioning of each unit operation
  • Support validation of each unit operation
  • Support of change control/specification/validation report closeout
  • Support of suite startup/troubleshooting
 
PLC support may be divided into the following areas:
  • Fermenter/Centrifuge/Harvest tanks
  • CIP skids/Suite PLC
  • Lysis skids
  • UF skids (upstream and downstream) and CPS skid/Pool tanks
  • Media and buffer tanks
  • Freeze/thaw and any additional equipment (chambers, etc.)
 
SCADA/MCS Milestones:
  • Support generation of documents, including change controls, plans, design specifications, functional/configuration specifications
  • Support protocol/test plan generation
  • Programming of iFIX/SCADA/MCS/Historian/SQL
  • Commissioning of iFIX/SCADA/MCS/Historian/SQL
  • Support validation of iFIX/SCADA/MCS/Historian/SQL
  • Support of server/workstation install/configuration
  • Support of change control/specification/validation report closeout
  • Support of suite startup/troubleshooting
