The Automation Engineer is responsible for receiving automation requirements and implementing solutions that improve the quality and efficiency of the automation infrastructure.
The primary focus is automating on-premises server builds for Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments using vCenter or other virtualization/hypervisor platforms.
The Automation Engineer may also support additional automation initiatives and projects across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand automation requirements for server builds.
Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
Automate on-premises server builds for Windows Server and RHEL environments.
Use vCenter or other virtualization/hypervisor platforms to automate virtual machine/server provisioning.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulations, concepts, and operating procedures.
Make informed decisions regarding work approaches and priorities while following established guidelines.
Contribute to additional automation projects and initiatives as required.
