NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for an Automation Engineer to support a Federal Program in Chantilly, VA.  This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator.  An active TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph is required.

 Automation Engineer
  • Design, manage and maintain Windows based Active Directory Forests and Domains with a focus on scripting (PowerShell) and automation.
  • Configuration of Group Policies (GPOs), DHCP, DNS and PKI.
  • Management of Microsoft Identify Manager (MIM), Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS), Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS).
  • Support solutions throughout the IT project life-cycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support.
  • Perform complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering
  • Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Reviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients.
  • Plan and directs upgrades of operating systems and designs systems enhancements.
  • Develop documentation on new or existing systems.
  • Develop and directs tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
  • Identify, analyze and resolve system problems.
  • Provide system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters.
  • Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers and operational support staff.
  • Serve as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
