Mid-level Automation Engineer responsible for design, integration, commissioning, qualification, validation, and operation of automated warehouse and packaging systems in a GMP/GxP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support design and integration of automated packaging lines, ASRS, AGVs, robotics, and material-handling systems.
Develop/review equipment and system specifications aligned with cGMP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Lead/support commissioning, qualification, validation, startup, testing, implementation, and lifecycle support.
Support PLC, HMI/SCADA, controls, automation, and integrated manufacturing systems.
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, RSView, PanelView, or equivalent platforms.
Partner with QA, CSV, Packaging, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and IT/OT teams.
Apply knowledge of OT/IT convergence, industrial networking, system integration, data integrity, and CSV.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and system integrators on technical deliverables and project execution.
Drive standardization, continuous improvement, cross-functional initiatives, and problem solving.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on industrial automation experience in a regulated manufacturing/GxP environment.
Experience with robotics, automated material handling, ASRS and AGVs strongly preferred.
Knowledge of GMP, GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, OSHA, EPA, validation, Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing.
