Automation Engineer

Location: Cupertino, CA

Salary Range: $75.00 - $80.00 per hr on W2

Introduction

The Automation Testing Engineer will be responsible for designing and building automated and regression testing capabilities for Digital Analytics platforms, including Adobe Analytics and Tealium. This role focuses on transitioning analytics validation from manual testing to a scalable, automation first model.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining automated regression test suites
• Experience using Git/GitHub and standard code review practices
• Familiarity with API testing, network call validation, and JSON payload analysis
• Proficiency with JavaScript or Java, and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
• Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools
• Strong experience in test automation framework design and development (UI, API, and regression testing)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test execution integration
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to validate analytics data layers, tags, events, variables, and server calls
• Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics (Web SDK / AppMeasurement) and Tealium iQ

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Designing test automation frameworks
• Building and maintaining automated regression suites
• Validating analytics data collection (tags, events, variables, and payloads)
• Supporting release validation through automated testing
• Working closely with onshore product, engineering, and release teams during US business hours
