This role serves as a key interface between Automation/OT andon-site IT teams, focusing on troubleshooting equipment connectivity,supporting system integration, and ensuring reliable data flow acrossplatforms. The ideal candidate can effectively communicate automation conceptsto IT personnel who may not have prior experience with industrial controlsystems.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison betweenAutomation/OT and IT teams.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related toequipment connectivity, communication, and data flow.Support integration between industrial controlsystems and IT infrastructure.Assist IT teams in understanding automationsystems, architectures, and dependencies.Configure, maintain, and support automationplatforms and data systems.Ensure accurate and reliable data collectionthrough historian and integration platforms.Participate in GxP/validation activities whereapplicable.Document system configurations, architectures,and troubleshooting procedures.Support continuous improvement efforts relatedto system performance and reliability.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, ComputerScience, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in industrial automationor process control environments.Strong experience with AVEVA PI System (PIHistorian).Experience working in GxP or validatedenvironments.Experience with Ignition SCADA platforms.Experience with Rockwell Automation systems(Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk).Strong troubleshooting skills across OT and ITsystems.Ability to effectively communicate with IT teamsunfamiliar with automation systems.Why Join Catalyx?At Catalyx we understand that our people are our greatestasset.
