Position - Automation Engineer

Description - This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, growing manufacturing company in the area. You will support multiple manufacturing sites which will include overnight travel on a monthly basis. This person will spearhead capital projects aimed at integrating production machinery with manufacturing software and processes. You will mainly focus on automation projects aimed to reduce labor, scrap, and production times, while improving efficiency, quality, and quality. You will also support maintenance issues as well as new product development. - Must have strong PLC knowledge including the ability to write new programs

- Must have hands-on experience with repair, troubleshooting, and installing automated production equipment

- Relevant degree is preferred but not required

- Must be able to travel overnight within the US approximately 1 week per month
