Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Automation Engineers with strong hands-on experience in Emerson DeltaV DCS, process control systems, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to meet project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project scope and identify potential deviations.
- Design and implement process control strategies using DeltaV DCS.
- Configure and test control modules, equipment modules, classes, and instances.
- Configure and test batch control strategies, phase classes, and recipes.
- Develop custom dynamos, graphic displays, and trends.
- Prepare system design documentation for continuous and batch process control applications.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Software Acceptance Testing (SAT), startup, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks, and instrument bus technologies.
- Configure and commission wireless field networks.
- Configure DeltaV Continuous Historian and integrate third-party historians such as OSI PI.
- Develop shift, environmental, and production reports for plant maintenance and operations.
- Configure process modeling and simulation using Mynah MiMiC and DeltaV.
- Support sales activities and prepare project estimates and proposals.
- Work independently at customer sites and support operations and project management activities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS.
- Experience designing and implementing process control strategies.
- Knowledge of control modules, equipment modules, classes, instances, batch control, phase classes, and recipes.
- Experience with custom dynamos, graphic displays, and trends.
- Experience with FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, networks, and instrument bus technologies.
- Experience configuring and commissioning wireless field networks.
- Knowledge of DeltaV Continuous Historian and third-party historian integration, preferably OSI PI.
- Experience with process modeling and simulation using Mynah MiMiC and DeltaV.
- Ability to develop system documentation and production reports.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
