Job Description
This onshore contracting role supports the cloud migration of digital applications as part of U.S. Bank's technology transformation. The role focuses on performance engineering for Azure cloud migration across digital platforms including online and mobile banking. Onshore presence is required for close collaboration with application owners and SMEs

Detailed Responsibilities:
• Design and execute performance tests to validate responsiveness, stability, scalability, and resource usage
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide optimization recommendations
• Analyze performance results and generate detailed reports
• Conduct resiliency testing and failure scenario validation
• Recommend and validate resiliency patterns such as circuit breakers, retries, and bulkheads
• Set up and maintain performance monitoring and observability tools
• Analyze real-time performance metrics and logs
• Perform capacity planning and recommend scaling strategies
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize applications and infrastructure
• Recommend and configure Kubernetes performance parameters including resource limits and autoscaling
• Document performance methodologies and best practices
• Provide training and support to development and operations teams
• Continuously evaluate and improve performance engineering processes
