Job Overview We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to manage system infrastructure and applications. The role involves working with cross‑functional teams to develop and deploy automation solutions, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, and support the sustainment of critical naval platforms. You will also strengthen DevSecOps capabilities by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release management across environments.Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions and CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve automation issues using Ansible, PowerShell, or other relevant tools.Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of applications and infrastructure.Enhance DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release management across environments.Required Qualifications Experience supporting DoD or government agencies.Experience troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell.Knowledge of automation tools including Ansible, version control systems such as Git, operating systems such as RHEL and Windows, and virtualization such as VMware.Knowledge of Agile development practices.Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments.Secret clearance.High school diploma or GED.Nice to Have Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).Application containerization skills.Modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML.Network automation using Python and Ansible.Knowledge of networking principles and concepts.Knowledge of API design and object‑oriented principles.Compensation Projected annual compensation range: $61,900.00–$141,000.00 (USD).
