Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for
- Building and maintaining robust Playwright-based automation frameworks
- Developing automated test scripts in Python
- Integrating solutions into CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling within Visual studio code
- Drive test automation adoption and maturity
- Improve framework performance and reliability
- Reduce manual effort through automation and AI-assisted development
- Enable regression and in-sprint testing
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of software testing experience with strong focus on automation
- 7+ years of hands-on automation development experience
- Strong experience with Playwrgiht automation framework
- Hands-on coding experience in Python for test automation
- Experience using Visual studio code (VD Code) as primary IDE
- Experience with Playwright CLI / Command-line driven test execution
- Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (Modular, reusable, scalable)
- Solid understanding of API Testing and UI automation strategies
- Experience in PyTest or similar python based testing frameworks
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into build workflows
- Experience in AI-assisted development tools (Github, Copilot)
- Experience in in-sprint automation strategies.
- Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform testing approaches
- Deep understanding of SDLC and QA lifecycle (Testing planning, Test design, Execution, Defect tracking and reporting)
- Domain Knowledge of banking / financial systems.

Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 a year
