This role will focus heavily on robotic applications, PLC programming, automation standards, process improvement, and equipment reliability in a manufacturing environment focused on safety and quality.Job DutiesDevelop code for new machines and automated systemsAssist with implementation and startup of new manufacturing equipmentModify and improve existing machine code and automation systemsTroubleshoot machine, control, and automation issues in production environmentsWork with robotic applications including setup, programming, application, and manipulationParticipate in cross-functional projects to ensure completion on time and within budgetDevelop project charters and communicate project status with managementManage multiple automation and equipment-related projects within manufacturing operationsLead automation and process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and qualityConduct feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, and ROI analysis for automation solutionsApply root cause analysis to resolve recurring control and automation issuesAssist technical support technicians with training, troubleshooting, and programming of production equipmentQualificationsBachelor's degree required, preferably in Automation EngineeringExperience with control networks including Ethernet/IP and DeviceNetFamiliarity with plant manufacturing systems and electrical/control technologies in production environmentsExperience with vision systems, barcode scanning systems, servo controllers, servo systems, and analog/digital signalsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills related to control software and hardwareBackground in robotics setup, programming, applications, and manipulationAbility to create automation standards for manufacturing systemsExperience with PLC ladder logic programming preferred, specifically Allen Bradley and General Electric systemsStrong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional environmentsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.#J-18808-Ljbffr
