Description

This Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

• Supporting installation and commissioning of new automation equipment and process controls.
• Troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and electrical systems to improve uptime.
• Collaborating with maintenance, operations, contractors, and vendors during project execution.
• Leading automation and electrical improvement projects across manufacturing operations.
• Participating in process safety initiatives, hazard reviews, and compliance activities.
• Optimizing production processes, equipment reliability, and operational performance.

Profile

A Successful Automation Engineer will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of automation experience within industrial or process manufacturing.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk, or Ignition systems.
• Experience implementing automation equipment in live manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with process safety management and hazardous manufacturing operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and maintenance teams.
