| Job Description: | **Please strictly adhere to the following resume naming convention: ALL CAPS, NO SPACES B/T UNDERSCORES PTN_US_GBAMSREQID_CandidateBeelineID i.e. PTN_US_9999999_SKIPJOHNSON0413 Bill Rate: $75/hr MSP Owner: Subhashree samal Location: - onsite - Irvine ,CA Duration: 6 months GBaMS ReqID: 10992227 Job Title: Automation Engneer ROLE_DESCRIPTION "• Contribute to requirements elicitation activities by documenting business requirements and ensuring alignment with project objectives. • Facilitate software design discussions and document technical decisions that guide engineering teams in building scalable solutions. • Participate in software development activities, integrating new features and enhancements while maintaining application stability. • Conduct code reviews, implement code changes, and maintain source code repositories following engineering best practices. • Define and execute risk-based test strategies, use AI-assisted analysis to optimize test coverage and prioritize regression suites, analyze results and failure patterns, and coordinate defect resolution activities to ensure software quality. • Apply generative AI and natural language processing to convert requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, API specifications, and historical defects into traceable test scenarios, automation assets, synthetic test data, and coverage recommendations, with appropriate human review. • Implement AI-enabled test capabilities such as self-healing automation, visual validation, anomaly detection, flaky-test identification, intelligent test selection, and predictive defect analytics within CI/CD pipelines. • Define and execute validation strategies for AI-powered applications and models, including functional accuracy, groundedness and hallucination testing, robustness, consistency, safety, privacy, explainability, drift monitoring, and adversarial testing. • Develop training materials, user guides, and support frameworks to facilitate successful application adoption. • Actively support production issue resolution and recommend preventive measures to improve system reliability and operational excellence. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, testing methodologies, automation frameworks, AI prompts and evaluation criteria, approved datasets, model or tool versions, quality metrics, and support activities to strengthen organizational knowledge, reproducibility, and auditability." SKILLS_REQUIRED "• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, and Pandas. • Strong hands-on experience with: o Selenium (Java) o Playwright (JavaScript & Python) o API Automation Testing • Experience developing automation solutions for: o ETL Validation o API Testing o Data Contract Testing o Database Validation • Experience creating automated reporting dashboards and quality metrics solutions. • Experience applying generative AI or machine learning to quality engineering use cases such as test-case generation, automation-code assistance, synthetic test-data creation, change-impact analysis, defect triage, failure summarization, and test-suite optimization. • Ability to evaluate AI-generated testing artifacts for correctness, completeness, traceability, security, and maintainability before production use." DESIRABLE_SKILLS "• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing platforms, coding copilots, prompt engineering, agentic testing workflows, or LLM-based test generation and evaluation. • Familiarity with AI/ML and generative AI quality metrics and evaluation methods, including precision, recall, relevance, groundedness, consistency, robustness, latency, token or inference cost, and model or data drift. • Understanding of responsible AI controls, including approved-data handling, prompt and output logging, access controls, human-in-the-loop review, and protection of confidential or personally identifiable information. • Experience integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines. • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including: o Athena o S3 o CloudWatch o EMR o AWS CLI • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger. • Experience working with enterprise databases and cloud data platforms, including: o Athena,Dremio,Oracle, PostgreSQL • Advanced SQL skills with experience validating large-scale data platforms. • Experience using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. • Experience with: o System Integration Testing (SIT) o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) o Execution analysis and reporting o Cloud-based testing environments" ESSENTIAL_SKILLS 10+ Years of Python and data engineering epx.
