Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Electrical Installation: Execute precision installation of complex electrical components, control panels, and specialized wiring systems on heavy industrial equipment.
- Quality Assurance & Validation: Conduct comprehensive electrical testing and systematic documentation to ensure all equipment adheres to rigorous performance standards and engineering blueprints prior to shipment.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner directly with the engineering department to troubleshoot prototype or "first-run" systems, providing real-time technical solutions to complex integration challenges.
- Technical Leadership & Training: Serve as the primary subject matter expert on the production floor, delivering hands-on training to assembly personnel to elevate craftsmanship across the team.
- Interdisciplinary Support: Maintain a versatile role by assisting in mechanical and hydraulic assembly tasks as required to meet production milestones.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and communicate opportunities for design enhancements and manufacturing efficiencies to the engineering team.
Qualifications
Education/Licensure: Journeyman Electrical License, Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics.
Strong working knowledge of 480VAC and 24VDC circuits.
Solid understanding of NEC codes for manufactured equipment.
Tools & Technology:
Skilled in using electrical measuring instruments, wire cutters, soldering tools, and crimping tools.
Computer literate with the ability to quickly learn proprietary control software.
