    Description

    Purpose of the positionFoxconn Technology Group, a global leader in electronics manufacturing, is hiring an Automation Maintenance Engineer to drive innovation, optimize high-precision systems, and ensure seamless production continuity. Once a part of the team you will have opportunity to lead automation optimization and design validation, eliminating root causes to boost capacity and reliability. Empower teams via data-driven standard operating procedures to align execution with customer needs and sustain improvements.     Duties and Responsibilities  1. Diagnose root causes of equipment failures, implement corrective actions, and enhance stability/reliability.2. Lead mechanical system design, drafting, and prototype testing to ensure manufacturability and process compliance.     3. Assess technical and cost feasibility of automation options, drive process optimizations to eliminate bottlenecks and boost capacity.     4. Gather testing data, produce structured reports to inform decisions, and ensure alignment with customer/quality standards.5. Develop standardized workflows (standard operating procedures), and deliver hands-on training to technical teams to reduce execution gaps and recurring issues.6. Adhere to company policies and  Standard Operating Procedures in all operational workflows.Education and work experience
    • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing with Automation, Electrical Engineering with Automation, or related fields.
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance of automated testing equipment.

    Skills:1. Proficiency in PLC programming, C-language-based control systems, and design tools (CAD/ProE/SW/UG preferred);2. Strong data-driven reporting and presentation skills for technical results.3.Proficient in English is required; working knowledge of Mandarin is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
