Your Impact

  • Own preventive and predictive maintenance for automated assets.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot programs for machinery and computer-based systems.
  • Fix electrical components—switches, motors, relays, sensors—to restore function fast.
  • Draft precise wiring and PLC drawings based on engineering inputs; update documentation as systems evolve.
  • Install and validate industrial controls and supervisory systems that orchestrate robots and automated lines.
  • Assess, service, and strengthen industrial networks for speed, stability, and security.
  • Support PLCs, HMIs, DCS, servos, variable frequency drives, and robotic controllers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement teams, occasionally traveling to other facilities to share best practices.
  • Adhere to safety standards, GMP, and company procedures without compromise.
  • Execute PM schedules and maintain thorough maintenance records.
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation when required.
  • Coach operators and production staff on safe operation and care of automated systems.
  • Lead data-driven root cause analysis using downtime logs and operator input.
  • Take on additional related duties as needed.

Must Bring

  • Direct experience with Fanuc PLCs and Fanuc robots.
  • Nice to have: Wonderware, SCADA, Ignition.

Background & Competencies

  • Associate degree in Technology/Electrical/Electronics/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent certification preferred; or 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Working knowledge across PLCs, robotics, servos/VFDs, vision cameras/RFID scanners, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong communicator with excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate math proficiency; fluent in reading schematics and using precision inspection tools.
  • Ability to train and collaborate effectively across departments.

Physical & Sensory Demands

  • Climb ladders/stairs/equipment; frequent stooping, crouching, reaching.
  • Prolonged standing and walking; pushing and pulling to move equipment or tooling.
  • Lifting requirements consistent with medium work: up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.
  • Regular grasping, tactile sensing, and fine finger movements.
  • Clear speech for rapid, accurate verbal instruction.
  • Hearing sufficient to perceive sound at approximately 500 Hz, 100 Hz, and 2000 Hz at 40 dB with or without correction; able to discriminate fine differences in sound for precision adjustments.
  • Vision adequate to analyze data/figures and detect small defects at close range.
  • Frequent repetitive motion of hands/arms/fingers.

Work Environment

  • Mix of indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Possible high-heat exposure above 100°F for more than one hour.
  • Exposure to noise and vibration.
  • Proximity to moving equipment, electrical energy, and certain chemicals.
  • May encounter fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or limited ventilation.
  • Potential contact with oils and cutting fluids.
