● Lead and Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within the facility.
● Support existing automation technology with component and process upgrades.
Education and Experience:
● Associates or Technical Degree or equivalent related experience.
● 2-4 years experience with the design and implementation of automated systems.
● CAD Platforms: SolidWorks, AutoCAD Electrical
● Controls Platforms: RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, Codesys, GX Works3
● Mechanical Responsibilities
○ Design full solutions using CAD software.
○ Use fastening standards.
○ Use ergonomic design.
○ Good understanding of fluid power systems.
○ Oversee Fabrication.
● Electrical Responsibilities
○ Design full controls systems using CAD software.
○ Design to NEC and ANSI codes.
○ Advanced computer programming knowledge using various software languages.
○ Oversee controls systems fabrication.
● Controls Responsibilities
○ Program various PLCs and HMIs for use in a diverse manufacturing and production
environment.
○ Setup and configure IO, VFDs, servo drives, vision systems, and any other intelligent
devices.
