The Automation Technician is a technical expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing advanced manufacturing automation systems in a high-volume distribution and production environment.This role requires extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, robotics, motion controls, sensors, and automated material.The Automation Technician serves as the technical resource for complex equipment issues and is expected to diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related problems.
Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related technical field Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in industrial maintenance with a strong focus on manufacturing automation. Experience with root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience with AMRs, SureSort systems, and automated distribution equipment.
