Job Summary
Seeking an Automation Technician with hands-on experience in ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems) and AMR/AGV systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and supporting automated material handling equipment to ensure maximum system uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ASRS, AMRs/AGVs, conveyors, shuttles, and lifts.
- Troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems, including electrical, mechanical, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize system downtime.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and startup of automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting.
- Maintain maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to improve system performance.
Required Skills
- 3 7 years of experience in industrial automation or automated material handling systems.
- Hands-on experience with ASRS, AMRs/AGVs, conveyors, and automated equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in PLCs, electrical, mechanical, sensors, motors, and drives.
- Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics, or a related field.
