Overview:
Client is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and support automated manufacturing equipment and high-speed assembly systems. The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency through preventive maintenance and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on automation and robotic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic system issues.
- Support equipment qualification, validation, and testing activities.
- Maintain equipment documentation, procedures, and operational records.
- Use measuring instruments and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow workplace safety standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and uptime.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or diploma in a technical field preferred.
- 2 4+ years of experience in automation, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with automated assembly equipment and robotic systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment documentation.
