Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28 per hourSummary:Location: Bradenton, FLDuration: 4 MonthsWork Mode: OnsiteFlexible hours, typically around 7 am to 3:30 pm, Mon-FriResponsibilities:Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines, including electrical supply lines, piping, tubing, pneumatic controls, and hydraulic systems.Maintain and repair control components like photo eyes, motor starters, relays, and limit switches.Inspect equipment for proper lubrication, test performance, and perform general preventative maintenance duties.Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).Address work orders as scheduled by the supervisor.Diagnose equipment problems and refer complex situations to supervisors and higher-level mechanics.Assist higher-level mechanics in diagnosing equipment-operating problems and making more difficult repairs, part replacements, and adjustments.Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills.Regular attendance is required.May be required to perform other duties, responsibilities, and functions as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent education or minimum three years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or sheet metal fabrication equipment maintenance.Valid driver's license with class E qualification and a clean driving record.Solid English language skills, reading and writing skills.Must have solid math and computation skills.Preferred Skills:Solid knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, and computer-controlled systems.Experience in operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.Must actively participate as a team member and maintain high productivity levels, occasionally sustaining longer working hours when necessary.Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions.Attention to detail and established procedures, along with being well organized.Benefits:Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.Ability to work independently and safely with limited supervision.Good vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions.Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.Ability to work while standing for long periods of time.Ability to climb ladders, work on lifts, stoop, and bend regularly.Sense of balance, limb, and finger dexterity is required.Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, vest.#J-18808-Ljbffr
