Diagnose problems when automation malfunctions, conduct electrical repairs (wiring, sensors), and complete Work Orders and Scheduled Preventative Maintenance for highly automated consumer product packaging facilities.
• Layout electrical jobs and projects.
• Specify and order correct parts for projects.
• Direct outside contractors on the installation of projects.
• Set up and implement preventive maintenance procedures for process control systems.
• Identify areas to be improved in process systems, make recommendations, and implement approved changes.
• Calibrate and maintain pneumatic and electronic instrumentation.
• Calibrate all critical control equipment.
• Maintain and repair hydraulics, controls, electrical, mechanical, welding, electrical, PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Program and integrate Automation systems.
• Evaluate PLC equipment and integrate PLC systems.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC frequency controlled drives.
• Maintain and update programs and process flow prints.
• Maintain inventory of electronic replacement parts.
