Airport Maintenance Technician II
Los Angeles, CA (100% Onsite)
Pay: $35.00/hour
Are you an experienced maintenance technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills? We're seeking a skilled Airport Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair passenger boarding bridges and related airport equipment in a fast-paced airport environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who enjoy solving complex mechanical and electrical problems while helping keep airport operations running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain passenger boarding bridge (PBB) systems and related equipment
Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders
Document maintenance activities using a CMMS system
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance records accurately
Respond quickly to equipment issues and operational service calls
Operate company vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment as needed
Maintain a safe work environment while following all company safety procedures
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, airport, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with passenger boarding bridges
Experience with airport operations or ground support equipment (GSE)
Knowledge of 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software
Forklift experience
Schedule
Monday through Sunday
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as needed

100% onsite
3-6 month contract with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and business needs
