Job Title: Automation Technician Robotics & Automation
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support robotic and automated manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting industrial robots, EOAT, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, sensors, pneumatic systems, and automation systems.

Required Skills

Hands-on Industrial Robotics experience Must Have

EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) experience Must Have

Basic PLC and HMI knowledge

Experience troubleshooting automated equipment

Knowledge of sensors, actuators, pneumatics, conveyors, and basic electrical systems

Ability to perform robot setup, adjustments, fault recovery, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robots and automation equipment

Support EOAT setup, adjustments, and repairs

Diagnose robot alarms, sensors, grippers, and equipment faults

Use PLC/HMI interfaces for troubleshooting and machine support

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Support equipment startups, changeovers, and continuous improvement activities
