Job Description: Seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and execute automated UI and API testing solutions supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, API automation, TypeScript/JavaScript, CI/CD integration, and automated testing frameworks. This role requires building scalable and reusable automation frameworks, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, validating cross-browser compatibility, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring software quality through effective test coverage and defect management. Experience with Agentic Generative AI or Claude through Proof of Concept (PoC) or implementation is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts
• Build and enhance scalable, reusable automation testing frameworks
• Perform UI testing, API testing, and backend validation for enterprise applications
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and quality validation
• Perform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit environments
• Collaborate with developers to analyze requirements, identify testing gaps, and improve test coverage
• Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects using Jira or related tools
• Support automated testing for REST/JSON APIs and enterprise integrations
• Participate in sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and quality assurance activities
• Support continuous testing, regression testing, and release readiness validation

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to improve software quality
• Monitor test stability and optimize automation framework performance
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC) efforts involving Agentic Gen AI or Claude-based testing approaches
• Maintain test documentation, reusable assets, and testing standards
• Participate in troubleshooting, issue analysis, and process improvement activities

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium automation
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with UI testing, API testing, backend validation, and REST/JSON services
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Git
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber preferred
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills
• Experience with Agentic Gen AI or Claude through PoC or implementation preferred

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4%2B years of relevant automation testing experience required
• Experience supporting enterprise automated testing and QA initiatives preferred
• Strong collaboration and quality assurance experience preferred
• Experience supporting CI/CD and automation best practices preferred
