Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Payment Tester with hands-on experience in payment systems, specifically in Authorization, Clearing processes, and ISO message formats. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in validating payment flows, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting end-to-end testing of payment transactions.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional and integration testing of payment systems with a focus on transaction flows.
Validate
Authorization
and
Clearing
processes across various payment scenarios.
Analyze and test
ISO 8583
and
ISO 20022
message formats for accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and create detailed test cases.
Execute test plans, log defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Work closely with Client teams to align testing with network specifications and updates.
Support regression testing and automation initiatives where applicable.
Required Skills
Experience:
Exposure to agile and waterfall testing methodologies and tools such as RALLY and ALM.
Knowledge in Java/C/C++ development in Test automation
Experience of working with other developers to ensure that systems are designed for reliability, performance and testability
Experience testing across a variety of platforms: web and mobile user interface, APIs (REST and SOAP), and Mainframe and UNIX
Exposure in building and using automation frameworks using technologies: Java, JUnit, Selenium, JBehave, Soap UI/Pro, REST, JSON and XML.
Expert knowledge of Payments Products (Credit/Pre-paid/Debit)
Knowledge of payment simulation tools (Paragon, FinSim, T3 or similar)
Knowledge of ISO payment protocols (8583) desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other payment networks (e.g., Visa, Client) is a plus.
Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages.
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
