Their responsibilities span strategy, execution, team management, and process improvement.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain an automation test strategy for large, complex projects, especially in Agile environments.Define automation scope, tools, frameworks, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.Create and review test plans and automation frameworks, ensuring alignment with project goals.2. Test Automation DevelopmentDesign, build, and execute automated tests.Write and maintain automation scripts for regression, integration, and critical business flows.Prepare and manage test data and set up test environments for execution.3. Execution & Quality AssuranceExecute automated tests, validate results, and identify, verify, and report defects.Perform back testing for interfaces, databases, and web services.Ensure fixes are retested and quality is maintained throughout the release cycle.Lead and mentor QA and automation teams, setting goals, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.Coordinate with development, product, and UAT teams to align on requirements and testing priorities.Oversee script library maintenance and promote best practices.5.
