Automation Tester/Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA.
• 5+ years of experience with Client ALM/Quality Center (v9.0+), TestDirector, and Quick Test Professional (QTP v9.5+).
• 5+ years of experience testing web-based GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• 5+ years of experience in requirements analysis, automated test case design, and test script development.
• 5+ years of experience creating test plans, reviewing test cases, and working with automated testing tools.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• 2+ years of experience developing and executing Selenium automated test scripts.
• 1+ year of experience testing Curam applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in TOSCA, NeoLoad, qTest, or related testing tools.
• Experience with NeoLoad and qTest.
• Knowledge of FNS/SNAP Program Policy.
• Experience with Java/J2EE development.
• Experience in Health & Human Services (HHS) projects.
• Experience developing JUnit and JMockit test cases.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and UNIX/Linux environments.

Position Overview

The client is seeking an experienced QA Automation Test Engineer/Automation Test Developer to support the full software development lifecycle of Java-based applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in TOSCA, supporting regression and manual testing efforts, collaborating with Agile teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery within the Curam application environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute TOSCA automated test scripts for regression and release testing.
• Create and maintain manual test cases and convert them into automated test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for application releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional Agile teams to understand requirements and validate functionality.
• Develop JUnit and JMockit test scripts to support unit testing.
• Assist with debugging, defect resolution, and maintenance of Java applications.
• Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC best practices.
• Validate application data using SQL and work with Oracle databases.
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous process improvements.
• Stay current with emerging QA automation tools, Java technologies, and industry best practices.
